The Town of Coaldale Council will hold a Public Hearing on April 12, 2021 at 5:05pm at the Council Chambers, temporarily located at 2107 13 Street (The HUB). The purpose of this public hearing is to rezone the property known legally as Lot 4, Block 16, Plan 9112556 to allow for commercial development that fits within the character of the surrounding area.

Comments must be received no later than 12pm on Monday April 12, 2021. If you have any questions, please submit them below in the "Questions" tab and we will try to answer them as quickly as possible. We will collect all your comments to share with Town Council so they can be well informed prior to making a final decision.
Please note, Council meetings and public hearings are conducted at either the HUB, 2107 - 13th Street, or via ZOOM, dependent on the current COVID-19 restrictions and conditions. These meetings are currently closed to the public until further notice but available via livestream at tinyurl.com/TownCouncilLivestream. Anyone wishing to speak at the public hearing should contact Lana Antony, Legislative Coordinator at (403) 345-1306 by no later than 12 pm, Monday April 12th for instructions on how to join the meeting.
Disclaimer: This method of feedback collection is in beta testing. Let's Connect Coaldale is not formally listed in the Town's advertising bylaw as an approved method of advertising for a public hearing. Based on the level of success from the pilot testing, a staff report will be presented to Council at a future date for their consideration which will determine whether Let's Connect Coaldale will be used as a formal advertising and feedback collection method for future public hearings.
