Mountain Bike Park Forum
almost 2 years agoShare on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link3 ResponsesCLOSED: This discussion has concluded. The purpose of this forum is to generate ongoing discussion and dialogue about the aspects of existing mountain bike parks that you like or dislike and to identify potential challenges or opportunities that you might have noticed at other parks. We are particularly interested in Design, Amenities, and Operations/Maintenance.
- "Design" can mean the types of track elements or structures and the flow or layout of the tracks.
- "Amenities" can mean the facilities that do not contribute to the design of the park but rather support the quality of the experience such as (but not limited to) washrooms, a picnic or spectator area, signage, or a repair station.
- "Operations/maintenance" can mean the upkeep and/or repair of the park tracks and structures as well as the amenities.
What do you like about mountain bike parks that you've experienced or visited? What do you dislike? What appears to be missing? What are some potential opportunities?
Please note, an additional survey will be released at a later time to ask for your input on specific design elements.
